This wonderful photo of Marvin Hardy and his wife Frances North, along with their seven living children, was likely taken in the early 1870s. A daughter Frances died in 1857 at the age of 8.

Early Life
Marvin Hardy was born on 25 Jul 1820 in Mannheim, New York, son of Joel Hardy and Hephzibah Parker. He and his wife Frances North lived in Johnstown, New York until the 1860s when they moved west to Jordan, Onandaga County, New York.
