In 2025, James Liljestrand applied for membership in the Sons of the American Revolution or SAR, based on his descent from Capt. Bryant Morton (1705-1793) of Gorham, Maine. His application was accepted and he was formally inducted into the Cape Cod and Islands Chapter on Saturday, December 6, at the <venue> in <town>, Massachusetts.
