Bertelle Frances Hardy Chandler Milner Booth
Bertelle Francis Hardy was born Mar 4, 1887, in Jordan, NY, the eldest daughter of Chauncey Hardy and Emma Perkins. She married Herman Whiting Chandler in 1916 and they had two children, Louis and Natalie (see below). Herman tragically passed away in 1928 at the age of 38, and Bertelle married William Bradley Milner in 1941. Unfortunately he died the following year, and Bertelle married a third time in 1949 to Thomas J. Booth. Bertelle died in 1966 in Dunkirk, NY, and is buried along side her first husband Herman Chandler in Maple Grove Cemetery in Jordan, NY.
Louis Winthrop Chandler
(1919-1967)
Jim’s 2nd cousin Louis Chandler was born in Dunkirk, NY, on Feb 26, 1919, to Bertelle Hardy (Ethel’s sister) and Herman Chandler. Lou married Anne C. Moore in 1942, and they had one son Louis Winthrop Chandler Jr. in 1947. Lou Sr. died in 1967, and Anne followed in 1980. They are buried in Maple Grove Cemetery in Jordan, NY.

Natalie May Chandler Haggett
(1922-2014)
Jim’s 2nd cousin Natalie Chandler was born in Dunkirk, NY, on Feb 5, 1922, to Bertelle Hardy (Ethel’s sister) and Herman Chandler. Natalie married John W. Haggett in 1945. They had one son Sidney Dale Haggett in 1947. John died in 2004 and Natalie followed in 2014. They are buried in Howlett Hill Cemetery in Syracuse NY.
